Mississippi Deer Hunters - CWD Testing Drop-off Locations

Mississippi is asking hunters to use CWD testing dropoff sites to dispose of deer heads that can be used for testing. Going further than some of the northern states who have dumpsters, the department has placed freezers at 59 spots across the state where hunters can drop off their deer heads for testing.

Obviously antlers can be removed before dropping off the heads so you can keep your trophy. Hunters are just asked to leave a minimum of 6 inches of neck attached to the heads and to keep the heads cool or frozen before dropping them in the freezer. No paperwork is required.
