Humic Acid Feed Mixing Reference

A reference for how much humic acid to add to your deer feed. Though obviously it's a little easier to add and mix to finer, granular based feeds like corn or pellets, it can be added to any type of feed, or even the ground in feeding areas.

Corn (kernel)

  • 40lb bag

    Add 2 pounds of humic acid.

  • 50lb bag

    Add 2.5 pounds of humic acid

  • 100lb bag

    Add 5 pounds of humic acid

Mineral Mix

  • 10 pound bag

    Add 1.5 pounds of humic acid

  • 20 pound bag

    Add 2.5 pounds of humic acid

  • 40 pound bag

    Add 5 pounds of humic acid

Apples/Carrots/Cabbage etc

  • 1 gallon

    Add 1/2 pound of humic acid

  • 5 gallons

    Add 2 pounds of humic acid

  • More or Less

    You can do the math. It doesn't have to be scientifically exact.
